Anny Pelouze 2004

Dipl. Eng. in 1979, M.Sc. in Electronics 1979, Ph.D. in Automatic Control 1981, D.Sc. in Physical Sciences 1984 (University of Lille), IEEE SM 1998, I am presently a Professor Emeritus at Centrale Lille (French 'Grande Ecole') with the research lab CRIStAL CNRS UMR 9189. After serving as scientific head of the joint Inria project-team Non-A (Non-Asymptotic estimation for online systems, 2011-2017), manager of the CRIStAL group 'Control and scientific Computing' (2015-2019), and director of the professional training 'Researcher' for the last-year students of Centrale Lille (2003-2021), I am now retired (Sept. 2021).

My research has mainly concerned dynamical systems with time delays (stability, control, observation, identification, estimation) and their applications in networked control systems (asynchronous sampling, teleoperation via unreliable networks, complexity) and aerodynamics (active flow control). On this topic, I was awarded in 2015 the Automatica best survey paper prize by Elsevier Ltd and the IFAC. I have supervised 34 PhD theses.

I am also taking a keen interest in music, meditation and yoga (which I have been teaching for several years), as well as philosophy. Together with Anny Pelouze, I have composed 3 music albums.

Our book 'Accompagner l'entree en recherche' (in French) has come out the press in 2022, published by L'Harmattan :)
